Matchanalyser

Statistikvinnaren: 8.

Draget i kuponghögen: 2.

Skador: Ferdi Kadioglu, Georginio Rutter, James Milner, Jason Steele,

Statistik: 3-1-1 (1-0-1)

4. West Ham vs Tottenham 1

There will be fireworks when West Ham United and Tottenham square off against each other in an eagerly-anticipated London derby. The Hammers are on a seven-game winless run in the Premier League, but they were more than unfortunate not to grab something from a 3-2 loss to Brighton. Niclas Fullkrug is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while both Michail Antonio and Crysencio Summerville remain in the recovery room. Midfielder Edson Alvarez is a major doubt.

Spurs, on the other hand, are fully focused on the Europa League double-header with Bodo. With Tottenham having nothing to play for in the remainder of the Premier League season, home win should be considered. The good news for the away team is that Korea ace Son Heung-min has overcome his injury, but Romania centre-back Radu Dragusin continues to miss out with a knee problem. Richarlison is expected to lead the line for Tottenham.

5. Bologna vs Juventus 1X2

In a competitive battle for the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots in Serie A, this is a massive game between Bologna and Juventus at the Renato Dall'Ara in Emilio-Romagna.

Bologna Preview: Bologna push for Europe

Bologna begin this weekend's round of fixtures sitting just a point and a place outside of the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots as they prepare for the final of the Coppa Italia later this month against an underperforming AC Milan side.

They have been magnificent in the last few months with former Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano at the helm but they have now managed just one victory in their last four matches in Serie A as a result of their goalless draw with Udinese in Friuli last weekend.

Bologna Team News: A few injuries

Bologna are dealing with a few injury concerns ahead of the visit of Juventus as right-back Erik Holm is sidelined alongside Switzerland international attacker Dan Ndoye as well.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Skorupski; Calabria, Beukema, Jhon Lucumi, Juan Miranda; Aebischer, Freuler; Orsolini, Odgaard, Dominguez; Dallinga

Unavailable: Holm (Injured), Ndoye (Injured)

Questionable: Casale (Injured)

Juventus Preview: Juve's unconvincing performances

Juventus have taken advantage of Bologna's recent stutter as the Bianconeri begin the match day sitting just above Bologna as a result of the visitors' comfortable 2-0 defeat of Monza at the Allianz Stadium in Turin last weekend.

Despite recently leapfrogging Bologna, the Old Lady have been a little underwhelming in terms of their performance level following the sacking of Thiago Motta and the appointment of former Juventus player Igor Tudor during the March international break.

Juventus Team News: Yildiz suspended

Turkey international attacker Kenan Yildiz was sent off last weekend against Monza and he is now missing through suspension for this one, whilst Lloyd Kelly is now absent through injury.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Veiga, Costa; McKennie, Locatelli, Thuram, Cambiaso; Gonzalez, Conceicao; Kolo Muani

Unavailable: Kelly (Injured), Bremer (Injured), Juan Cabal (Injured), Yildiz (Suspended), Milik (Injured)

Questionable: Gatti (Injured), Koopmeiners (Injured), Vlahovic (Injured)

Bologna vs Juventus Prediction

Bologna lost their manager Motta to Juventus last summer as well as some key players like Riccardo Calafiori and Joshua Zirkzee to Arsenal and Manchester United respectively but they have arguably been improved this season. Their performance level and ceiling is higher than their upcoming opponents with Juventus struggling for any sort of rhythm, albeit grinding out results. However, with home advantage, Bologna are firm favourites at the Renato Dall'Ara.

Bologna vs Juventus Tip: Bologna to win

6. Roma vs Fiorentina 1

These are two teams battling for a top four finish and UEFA Champions League qualification in Serie A as Claudio Ranieri's Roma welcome Fiorentina to the Stadio Olimpico this weekend.

Roma Preview: Ranieri's Romans

Ever since coming out of retirement during the November international break to become Roma's third permanent manager of the season following the sackings of both Daniele De Rossi and Ivan Juric, Claudio Ranieri has enjoyed a magnificent time of it back in the Italian capital.

Roma come into this one on the back of defeating defending champions Internazionale by a goal to nil at San Siro last weekend thanks to a 22nd minute winner scored by Matias Soule. The Giallorossi are now unbeaten in their last 18 matches in Serie A.

Roma Team News: Matias Soule stepping up

With Argentina international Paulo Dybala still missing through injury due to a thigh issue, his compatriot and fellow former Juventus attacking midfielder Matias Soule has stepped up to the plate as a key man in the final third for the Romans.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Svilar; Celik, Mancini, Ndicka; Matias Soule, Cristante, Kone, Pellegrini, Angelino; Dovbyk, Shomurodov

Unavailable: Dybala (Injured)

Questionable: Nelsson (Injured), Abdulhamid (Injured)

Fiorentina Preview: Focus on UECL

Having been runners' up in each of the last two seasons of the UEFA Europa Conference League under the management of Vincenzo Italiano, Italiano's replacement, Raffaele Palladino, has I Viola once again in the middle of a UECL semi-final tie at the moment.

The first-leg of that tie came the other day as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin in Andalusia. Palladino's side also begin this weekend's round of fixtures sitting a few places but just three points outside of the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots.

Fiorentina Team News: Ranieri suspended

Fiorentina defender Luca Ranieri scored in their 2-1 defeat to Betis the other day but the Italian will not be involved as they make the trip to the capital city this weekend as he is missing through suspension for I Viola.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): David de Gea; Pongracic, Pablo Mari, Comuzzo; Folorunsho, Mandragora, Cataldi, Adli, Gosens; Gudmundsson, Beltran

Unavailable: Ranieri (Suspended), Bove (Illness)

Questionable: Dodo (Injured), Colpani (Injured), Kean (Injured)

Statistik: 1-1-3 (0-1-2)

9. Espanyol vs Real Betis 1X2

Espanyol will try to recover from a 1-0 loss to Villarreal when they face Real Betis in the La Liga round 34. Despite the weekend loss, Espanyol's form in April has been promising, but they will have a big fish to fry against the high-flying Andalusians. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of Sunday's encounter.

Los Beticos, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Girona and Real Valladolid. Manuel Pellegrini's men are eyeing a spot in the Champions League and given their impressive record in 2025, away win should be considered. Aitor Ruibal serves a one-game ban due to the accumulation of yellow cards for the visiting team, while striker Cedric Bakambu is expected to recover in time to face Espanyol. As always, a man to watch in the away team will be former Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

10. Real Sociedad vs Athletic Bilbao 1X2 MG

Sparkles will be flying when Real Sociedad and Athletic Club lock horns in the Basque derby at Reale Arena. La Real aim to recover from a heart-breaking loss to yet another Basque outfit Alaves and they are likely to leave their hearts on the field. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team ahead of Sunday's showdown.

The Lions, on the other hand, head into the match following the Europa League encounter with Manchester United, meaning that tired legs could prove to be a big problem for Ernesto Valverde's troops. Therefore, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from the local derby. Speaking of the away team, both Unai Gomez and Oihan Sancet are major doubts, while starforward Nico Williams is pushing for a start after coming as a substitute in a hard-fought 1-0 win over Las Palmas.

Statistics: 2-0-3 (2-0-0)

11. Lille vs Marseille 1X2

Top four rivals Lille and Marseille collide at the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre-Mauroy in France's Ligue 1 on Sunday, 4 May.

Lille are just two points behind second-placed Marseille ahead of Sunday's game and Les Dogues have been given a 42.6% chance of securing the win they need to leapfrog their rivals.

Marseille have been scoring buckets of goals at home in recent weeks, though their away form continues to underwhelm and they will kick off as 21/10 underdogs here as a result.

Lille preview: Diakite is suspended

Lille have a clean bill of health in terms of injuries, however, defender Bafode Diakite was sent off against Angers last time out, so is suspended on Sunday. Les Dogues have won four of their last five matches in Ligue 1.

Predicted lineup: Chevalier (GK), Meunier, Mandi, Ribeiro, Ismaily, Haraldsson, Andre, Gomes, Fernandez, David, Akpom

Marseille preview: OM could be unchanged

Luiz Felipe is listed as injury for Marseille, though elsewhere, it's as you were following OM's thumping 4-1 win over Brest last week. Marseille will be aiming to snap a run of four successive defeats on the road when they visit Lille.

Predicted lineup: Rulli (GK), Murillo, Balerdi, Kondogbia, Garcia, Rongier, Hojbjerg, Greenwood, Rabiot, Henrique, Gouri

Statistics: 0-3-2 (2-0-0)

12. Mainz vs Frankfurt X2

Mainz will look to recover from a 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga round 32. Die Nullfunfer are on a six-game winless run in the German top flight, but they are surely capable of matching die Adler in front of home fans. Both Anthony Caci and Maxim Leitsch are rated doubtful for the home team and the duo will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.

Frankfurt, on the other hand, aim to build on a thrilling 4-0 win over Leipzig. New Man City signing Omar Marmoush has not been sorely missed in the second half of the season and given Mainz's poor form, we predict that the visitors are going to pick up all three points from Sunday's clash. All Mario Gotze, Jessic Ngankam, and Mehdi Loune are out of contention with injuries for the away team.

Statistics: 1-2-2 (0-2-0)

Gary

13. Freiburg vs Bayer Leverkusen 1X2

Europa-Park Stadion will be the centre of attention when Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen lock horns in a highly-anticipated Bundesliga game. Freiburg are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. With no fresh injury worries to report, head coach Julian Schuster is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Wolfsburg 1-0 at the weekend.

Xabi Alonso's men, on the other hand, aim to keep their title hopes alive, but given Freiburg's excellent form in the national championship, we are tempted to place our bets on draw. The likes of Alejo Sarco, Martin Terrier, and Jeanuel Belocian remain in the recovery room, while Patrick Schick should keep his place up front after scoring the opener in a 2-0 win over Augsburg on Matchday 31.
